Nelson Fraser is a self taught artist living is Saskatoon Saskatchewan. "I have been working with steel for many years and now would like to share my work with everyone. I like working with steel for its properties and ability to tell a story or portray a different mood depending on how the steel is finished. My work began with functional and contemporary pieces for the home and yard but I have become comfortable looking within letting my passion drive the creative process. In the pieces I create I try to capture an essence that can make a statement. I usually begin one or more projects at a time and let the individual pieces direct me in how they will be completed letting my creativity control when it is done".
